Marcos is a Senior Project Hydrogeologist with dual PhDs from the University of Technology Sydney and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He specialises in hydrogeological modelling and has delivered groundwater models from conceptualisation through calibration, scenario analysis, and stakeholder reporting.

Marcos thrives on a challenge and enjoys working through complex problems to develop practical solutions. He is continually learning and values the opportunity to grow through the work he does.

Outside of work, Marcos is a rock climber who is drawn to the combination of problem-solving, focus, and persistence. He also values the strong sense of community within the sport.

His favourite quote is “To study the self is to forget the self” by Dōgen Zenji, which reflects the importance of being present and not getting in your own way.
