Laura has a Bachelor of Geology (First Class Honours) from James Cook University and brings experience across resource definition, underground mine geology, exploration, drilling supervision, QA/QC and data management. Having recently returned from Western Australia, Laura is excited to apply her broad geoscience background to hydrogeological projects in North Queensland.

What Laura enjoys most about her work is the variety that comes with field-based projects. She loves being outdoors, investigating the geology of new areas and expanding her understanding of the natural word.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys walking, hiking, swimming and exploring new places with her family. Looking ahead, she hopes to continue learning, make a positive impact through her work and build a happy life with her family, hopefully on her own farm.
