Tim has over 20 years’ experience in groundwater consulting across Australia, Asia Pacific, New Zealand, and Canada, and a PhD in Hydrogeology from QUT. He has had a dynamic career where he’s had the ability to work across different sectors such as mining, pumped hydro, water resources, infrastructure, and coal seam gas.

In his professional career, Tim’s skills and expertise span across aquifer characterisation, groundwater impact assessments, conceptual and numerical modelling investigations, tailings and waste facility seepage studies, and closure risk. At AGE, Tim brings a fresh perspective and depth of experience that will allow him to continually develop our technical capability, mentor staff across the business, and support the delivery of complex groundwater and environmental projects.

In his personal life, Tim enjoys going to the beach on the Gold Coast with his family. So much so, that he brings the beach home by growing coral, such as short polyp stony coral, in his spare time. He has a number of reef tanks where he tweaks the water chemistry to get the best growth and colours possible.
