Senior – Hydrogeologist | Adelaide
Dr Sarah Marshall
Sarah joined AGE in November 2024 harbouring a diverse educational background with a PhD in Groundwater Modelling, a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) majoring in Geology and Geophysics, as well as post-graduate degrees in Groundwater Hydrology, and Environmental and Resource Economics. At AGE, she is applying her extensive skills to great use in groundwater conceptualisation, numerical and analytical modelling, uncertainty analysis and environmental impact assessment.
On a personal level, Sarah loves the breadth of work in her field, from maths to chemistry, geology to social science. This is reflected in the extensive list of journals that she has published, including Groundwater, Water Resources Research, Hydrogeology Journal and the Journal of Metamorphic Geology. Her paper on water table mapping methods was a particular favourite within AGE.
Outside of AGE, Sarah is a mother of two kids and loves to spend time playing in the garden or at the beach with her family. She is an avid lacrosse player, and even coaches a junior team. When she is not outside, you will find her drinking tea and reading a good book.
