Joining AGE in October 2024, Dan brought with him a Bachelor of Science (Earth Science) and over 13 years’ experience working in the mining industry as a geologist. Dan is proficient in groundwater sampling, borehole design, and drilling supervision through experience gained at multiple coal mines and energy projects in Australia. His wide variety of skills include coal quality, gas desorption and geotechnical sampling, as well as core and chip logging.

Dan personally enjoys fieldwork with AGE, as he loves the outdoors. He is dedicated to honing his skills in hydrogeology; both in the field and the office, and applying his knowledge to solve complex problems.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys socialising with his friends, exploring his surrounds and aviation photography. With his enthusiasm for problem-solving, his favourite quote is “you must be the change you wish to see in the world”.
