Senior – Hydrogeologist / Groundwater Modeller | Brisbane
Amy has worked on groundwater conceptualisation and numerical modelling projects since 2010. Her modelling expertise includes the simulation of open cut and longwall mining, mine recovery modelling and modelling to fulfil requirements of environmental protection orders. Previously, Amy worked in Government and academic roles and enjoyed six years demonstrating in the Hydrogeology course at The University of Queensland.
Amy loves that AGE is a great environment for learning groundwater modelling and bringing your own ideas to projects. “There is always something new to learn and that makes working at AGE really fulfilling. I also really enjoy working with great people.”
Amy also owns a business in eco-parenting and serves as a board member of a professional body. She enjoys trail running, cycling, swimming, gardening, learning classical piano and going camping with her family. Amy is hopeful her kids will grow up in a society that is more ecologically sustainable, active transport friendly and socially connected than it is today.
