Mohsen Azadi

Mohsen is a groundwater modeller with more than nine years’ experience in groundwater modelling, hydrogeological conceptualisation, data analytics and advanced mathematical modelling gained in academic and consultancy sectors. At AGE, Mohsen develops groundwater models for resources, infrastructure and oil and gas sectors across Queensland and New South Wales.

With a PhD in Mining engineering, Mohsen’s extensive research experience includes developing an integrated model to investigate near-wellbore flow effects and, during his postdoctoral research, developing a water production forecasting tool using statistical analytics of data from the Surat Basin coal seam wellbores.

Outside of work, Mohsen is passionate about cooking and is a dab hand at using his BBQ smoker. Sources say the thing everyone is most excited for is his home-made jam! With a little fox terrier, Nancy, who is really good at tricks, Mohsen would love to be more involved in dog training and agility courses in the future.
